I'm involved in an organisation that operates locally called Communities for Communities. (www.communitiesforcommunities.com.au) We hold community events to raise funds for andawareness of other communities. We have just built 360 houses for people who live on a rubbish tip in Cebu in the Phillipines. In the middle is Dr Arne Rubenstein, one of the founders of the Pathways Foundation. This shot shows the only two men brave enough to attend - one of our patrons, John Murphy, Federal MP, and our founder, Lance Brooks. I think it's the first time I've had my photo in the newspaper under a Be Seen banner! |
