Why do people fail to reach their full potential in business?
Companies invest huge amounts of money in knowledge and skills-based training to improve performance and yet often the investment is unjustified by the improvement in productivity. Most of the time when we are stuck with trying to reach a goal it’s because we’ve run up against one or more internal barriers – self-limiting beliefs and negative thoughts - which create fear and lack of confidence.
For the most part people know what to do and how to do it but they still don’t perform as well as they could. You know that if you send staff on a sales training programme or a presentation skills workshop and they are taught exactly the same skills, they don’t come away and get the same results. The reason for this is that the internal factors block effective application of skills and knowledge.
Being Your Best programmes focus on freeing participants from internal barriers so that they can then implement what they know and achieve the goals they want to.
Being Your Best at Selling
- Explains the creative process of converting a sales target from a figure on a paper to dollars in the till.
- Addresses the beliefs and conditioning that people bring to selling product, services or themselves. Deals with the subconscious messages and deeply held fears that cause call reluctance and difficulties in cold calling.
- Looks at where in the selling process a problem occurs and seeks to rectify that so the person is free of any internal barriers (including the fear of failure and fear of success) that prevent them from applying their sales knowledge to the best advantage.
- Sets up positive conditioning around being a successful salesperson
(Sales processes or techniques are not taught).
Being Your Best at Speaking
- Addresses the fears and physical symptoms that arise when someone has to speak before an audience – as in business presentations, selling products, tutorials, networking events, introductions, speeches, award nights, weddings etc.
- Looks at the beliefs and conditioning that generates the various fears (fear of going blank, saying something stupid, rejection, not knowing enough, being found out/being a fraud, not measuring up, being criticized).
- Seeks to eliminate these and set up a new set of beliefs and feeling around being calm, confident and powerful - allowing the person to shine as themselves and deliver their message in the best possible way.

Being Your Best at De-stressing
- Imparts an understanding of how people react to stressful situations and, more importantly, how to change the way they react in order to stay peaceful, relaxed and healthier.
- Delivers information and a toolkit which is experienced during the workshop that people can then take away and use to become happier and more productive.
Areas covered are attitude, a number of different relaxation and visualisation techniques, breathing exercises, diet and exercise. EFT can also be taught.
- Having experienced some of the exercises for themselves participants leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and re-energised.
Being Your Best at Fast Tracking Your Goals
- Explains the creative process of converting a goal on paper to actual achievement of it and what gets in the way.
- Reasons for setting goals and assistance in setting appropriate goals.
Elicits the limiting beliefs, conditioning and resistance that sabotage making the goal a reality.
- Addresses the issue of core identity – who we would have to be to achieve the goal.
- Elimination of the internal blocks and barriers that prevent the goal being achieved.
Installation of positive beliefs and making the choices that will accelerate the goal being achieved.
- How to visualise and future pace goals to fast track them coming to fruition.
